Robotic construction worker
For Cornell’s Robot Learning (CS 4758) course, I am part of a small group trying to program an Adept manipulator arm equipped with a Kinect sensor to pick up jumbo-sized Legos on the ground and use them to build simple structures that we specify. The project involves tying together several disparate disciplines, like computer vision, machine learning, and robot control/feedback. At the end of the semester, there will be a short paper and presentation at a project showcase.
